About Me

My scuba diving journey began in France in 1984, shortly after I graduated from college and started my career. I fell in love with the sport immediately. Driven by a desire to share the beauty of the underwater world, I pursued my training and spent the next 15 years teaching scuba as an instructor. In 2000, I relocated to the United States, and teaching took a backseat to a busy professional career. Fortunately, upon retiring, I reconnected with the water—and found that my passion hadn't faded a bit. After completing a thorough refresher to get up to speed on modern equipment and the latest teaching practices, I am thrilled to be back, ready to open the door to this incredible underwater world for a whole new generation of divers.

As an SSI Instructor, I am proudly affiliated with our premier local dive center, Aqua-Hut. All of my teaching and certification courses are conducted in partnership with their team. Aqua-Hut offers a best-in-class facility, featuring a private pool heated to a comfortable 88°F, spacious locker rooms, and all the essential gear you need to get started. Additionally, their retail space is fully stocked with a wide selection of scuba equipment, allowing you to try gear on before you buy to ensure the perfect fit for your comfort and safety
