SSI React Right Program
Accessibility, freedom, and an inclusive community throught adaptive diving.


Course Description and Structure:
This course is done over a full day in a small group setting. It's divided in 3 sections, an online training, a lecture and hand's on practice and concluded with in pool activities.
Online Training:
It's a self-study academic session (6 modules on basic life support, fist aid techniques, respiratory arrest, CPR, AED and oxygen administration) accessible via browser or mobile app that you can do at your own pace. We must complete it before the in-person class.
Lecture and Hand's on practice
The lecture section includes topics such as the "Good Samaritain laws", the "Stop and Think" philosophy, the react protocol and more.
The hand's on practice includes activities such as bleeding control, CPR practice, AED operations, Oxygen administration and others.
Open Water activities:
You will practice in water recovery, body towing and water extraction, equipment removal just to name a few.
You will get wet and need to bring all your diving equipment.

Before you can jump into your Stress & Rescue certification, you need a solid foundation in emergency response. In this one day, hands-on course, you'll master primary assessment, first aid, and CPR. Plus, you'll learn the diving-specific skills that save lives, like oxygen administration and AED use. It’s the ultimate confidence builder for any diver.
As young as 12 years old can register to the class. The certification is valid for 2 years. Pass this period, a shorter refresh class is available to renew your certification.
